That Nothing's happening incident though... big stuff!! Lol at Gintoki getting a Shokugeki no Souma style foodgasm. And he stays naked XD. Kagura's silhouette and new look, lol. Shinpachi's foodgasm is his glasses! Also, Haikyuu reference! Then the Shogun Assassination arc preview! Hype level over 9000!

I JUST caught up with Gintama and it could not be more timely! I started watching a few months ago via a recommendation from here and am so grateful! This show has become one of my favourite anime! I should probably watch more as I know a lot of the references to other anime go over my head from time to time, but LOVE the Shokugeki ref! Too funny!

I coincidently came across this special and decided to quickly watch it. First half made me nearly die from laughter and the preview got me hyped for the shogun assassination arc once more! But damn, I still have to rewatch over 30 episodes until I'm there again!! *cries in a corner*

The first part was really funny XD When the black screen appeared I had to double-check the video was still running :P but when Shinpachi starts talking I laughed out loud XD
...Shinpachi's lenses are trembling lol. And then that preview... I got the shivers. Too amazing man.
Also, now that I'm back here from Porori-hen, the OP feels very nostalgic for some reason. I didn't even like it that much originally lol. Happy to be back!!

This was just a hype machine along with some good comedy. It did its job, I'm super excited for this arc I've heard so much about. Gintoki vs takasugi will be legendary I'm guessing.

having seen the Shogun assassination arc the preview did nothing to me but it was still hype.
The few minutes before the preview was funny tho
the way shinpachi main body was melting lmao
